Knee Surgery
Quick reminder before tonight’s game (which I plan on liveblogging assuming I can get my wirless internet to work): I am having an Allograft ACL Revision on Wednesday morning (8am) in Cincinnati. My orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Frank Noyes (one of the best in the business), will be removing my current screws and ACL graft (which was part of my patellar tendon). If I’m one of the small percentage who need it, he will then remove some bone from my pelvis to place into the “hole” where my previous screws where. Hopefully that won’t be the case and he’ll just put in someone’s achilles tendon and new screws and then be done with surgery!How will this affect BtJ?
- Assuming I have access to the internet from my room and am not too under the weather, I plan on still updating.
- If the Wings lose tonight (which will hopefully not be the case), there might not be any updates.
- I plan on watching Wednesday’s game (if the Wings win tonight), but may not be able to give my postgame reactions until I feel a little better. Since I will be in Cinci, I may not even be able to watch the game if the hotel doesn’t have OLN so I may be listening to the NHL.com feed if I can get internet access.
- If you don’t see any updates until this Friday or later (aside from tonight’s game comments), that’s because I couldn’t get internet access and/or felt like total crap.
