Michigan 41, CMU 17
Michigan football went 2-0 to start the season with their second victory over Central Michigan University, 41-17. Unfortunately, it started pouring like a ridiculous amount with only 7 minutes left in the first quarter. Fans like myself tried to make a quick exit, but to no avail. Michigan Sports Center was able to liveblog the game from the Michigan Stadium press box, which I think is incredibly awesome!
According to this AP article about the game, this is the first reported weather delay at Michigan Stadium since it was built in 1927. That’s crazy! Here are two more random pieces of trivia…
The Wolverines are 11-1 when Hart runs for 100 yards, with the lone setback coming last year against Minnesota.
Michigan improved to 21-0 against Mid-American Conference teams.
