All-Hot Teams

I must admit that I am slightly embarassed to mention that I entered an “All-Hot” team pool with five other female hockey bloggers because I am so anti-puckbunny [I also have been leaving comments at Hot-Oil and feel somehow guilty about it]. Anyways, I figured it would be fun and you can check out all of our teams at double d(ion)!

In addition to that, 7 of us female hockey bloggers are creating a new hockey blog where we will discuss at least one hockey topic every week from our different perspectives. I will post a link to the new blog when it’s all up and running.

Finally, I have added quite a few hockey blogs to the blogroll. If you have a blog that you don’t see up on BtJ, please drop me an email or leave a comment and I’ll be happy to add it assuming you (a) update it and (b) have had it up for at least 2 weeks.

I just wanted to say how great it is to find blogs done by women who enjoy hockey! I am a huge hockey fan, brought up on the sport & attend MN Wild games on a regular basis. But it is so hard to be taken seriously by some dipstick guys, that it is great to see a woman’s point of view. Keep up the GREAT work!!

Remember that we are all anti-puckbunny! It truly is just for fun and good times. It’s like watching serious documentaries but also enjoying stupid comedies, you have to be balanced out!

Tasha- Thanks for the compliment! Female hockey bloggers can be so refreshing to read - not that I don’t enjoy the male bloggers’ work either.

Kriste- I know you guys are, I just meant that it seems like the puckbunny thing to do and it’s weird for me. :) But fun all the same!

I think it would be the puckbunny thing to do if it was the only thing on the blogs. It’s weird for me too, don’t worry.

I still feel guilty about some of the things I write at hot-oil, and I’m a creator!

Though I don’t know the other girls too well, I maintain a very genuine interest in hockey and journalism outside of the blog. I think it gives me the chance to be a jackass, so that side of me doesn’t enter into the rest of my life and studies.

It is meant to be tongue-in-cheek to an extent… to a LARGE extent.

    SQUEE!!!

Hey man, there’s nothing wrong with noticing guys are attractive, you’re allowed to be a girl after all!

I worry all the time about being a puckbunny. The only problem is… puckbunnies don’t wear clothes?

I try to take all this as a symptom of offseason eagerness. People want to hear hockey, even if it is whether Theodore is really going out with Paris Hilton or not (okay I didn’t want to know that one but it’s one of many examples.)
