Wings October Schedule
Here is a list of the Wings games that will be played this month. Everyone who attends opening night at the Joe tonight against Vancouver will receive a free mousepad with the Wings schedule from Rock Financial. Don’t forget to tune in tonight to see Lidstrom get named captain! I think it would be pretty funny if they gave someone else the captaincy after all this Lidstrom talk…don’t get me wrong, I’d like to see Lidstrom wear the “C.”

Hi Christy: I disagree. I think it would be a terribly cruel joke not to give the “C” to Lindstrom at this point and it would be difficult to understand how the guy wouldn’t be hugely disappointed. Something like that could poison the season at the very beginning. Fortunately I don’t think there’s any chance it’s going to happen. Lindstrom is the right choice. He has earned it, he will honor it, and he will make us all proud with continued success.

Zanstrom- The Wings are gonna win this game for sure. Just you wait and see.
But if Hasek hurts his groin tonight, I will cry. lol.
Duponceau- I don’t see Lids not getting the “C” either and it really wouldn’t be funny if it actually happened. But I’d laugh at the reporters for getting it all wrong if the captaincy was given to someone else, which it shouldn’t be. Lids is an excellent player and he’ll be a great captain.
