Blog Update

I wanted to keep you all updated on when regular posts will resume for BtJ. I am attending the Red Wings game tonight against Calgary, but won’t be able to post anything until Thursday evening at the earliest because I will be in Cincinnati all day Thursday so my orthopedic surgeon can determine if, in fact, one of my screws is coming loose.

I plan on having a Behind the Blog feature back up next Monday featuring Drew at End of the Bench. If anyone would like to partake in the BtB feature, please leave a comment or send me an email.

I also will post my english paper about why the NHL should require its players to wear partial visors sometime this weekend. I have to write another persuasive paper and, once again, I plan on discussing some aspect about the NHL or hockey in general. Any ideas? I was thinking about the suckiness of the current NHL schedule and the impact it has had on rivalries (I hate that we hardly see any real fights anymore - but you still see a ton in the OHL).

If you haven’t noticed, Bill (IwoCPO) of Abel to Yzerman is back and he’s made a couple posts at Kukla’s Korner. A2Y is going to become an extension of KK, but Bill will still be a mainly Wings blog with the same sense of humor, sarcasm, and wit that we have all come to love. Welcome back!

    Well, not to make light of your knee situation, but if you have to be checked for a loose screw you certainly went to the right state! Those Buckeyes are all nuts. And don’t feel alone. People have told me for years that I have screw loose!
    Seriously, hope your trip went well. Root those Wings on tonight, and with any luck they will put some heat on the Flames!
