Maltby in pop-culture grid
Spots Illustrated has what they call the “Pop-Culture Grid” every issue and the Detroit Red Wings very own Kirk Maltby was one of the four athletes chosen to participate. Here are the six questions they asked each athlete and Maltby’s responses…
1) Favorite Christmas movie? A Christmas Story. Best movie ever.
2) How often do you read SI? Weekly.
3) Favorite ethnic cuisine? Chinese.
4) Perfect wedding gift for TomKat [Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes]? Counseling.
5) TV show that my wife/girlfriend makes me watch? Desperate Housewives.
6) Best book ever read, besides the Bible? The Great One about Wayne Gretzky.
And yes, those are very deep questions being answered by Maltby, but I hope you guys can handle it. [note the sarcasm]
