This is the best week ever

The past week for me has been amazing. The number of visitors to BtJ has significantly increased this week. BtJ has already had more visitors in the past week than it did all of last month. Crazy! Again, I’d like to thank everyone who has visited BtJ recently or linked to the blog because this has been great!

So not only has the amount of BtJ visitors increased, but I got this email last week, the day after the Yzerman ceremony:

I just wanted to say you did a great job!! I have known Steve Yzerman for 12 years and have represented his Memorabilia exclusively for 10 of those years. I know you have to be a fan to write like that and the pictures are wonderful. Please send me your address I would like to send you a little something from Steve.

Wow. So I sent my address back to Derrick and received my “little something from Steve” earlier today. Now, I thought at most it’d be a signed puck. Oh no, they went all out on this bad boy. Lucky Sports Management hooked me up with this beautiful framed photo, patch, pin, and plaque and this is going up on my wall the next time I stop by home…

So this beauty has an 8×10 signed Yzerman photo, a 2002 Stanley Cup patch, a mini plaque commemorating Yzerman’s career, and what looks like a Red Wings pin up top.

I want to send out a big thank you to Derrick Luck at Lucky Sports Management!!

    Wow, Christy! That has to be one of the coolest things I’ve seen happen to a hockey blogger in the almost-four years since I started. Has to make the time investment all worth it, eh?
