Michigan Hockey internship
I am happy to announce that I have a second internship, this time for college credit, with the Michigan Hockey publication. My first assignment will be writing a feature story about a team participating in this year’s Victory Honda Cup, which features some of the best U-16, U-17, and U-18 teams from around the country. This internship will not interfere with BtJ as I’ll only cover one game or event a week and will probably work around 3-4 hours every week. I will be sure to link to any pieces that may appear on their website!
The Red Wings beat the Avs tonight, 4-3, in the shootout snapping their three game losing streak. I will post postgame quotes sometime tomorrow, but will not have any personal reactions as the Versus channel is not on U of M Comcast cable so I was unable to watch the game.
