Red Wings 4, Rangers 3
Last night I was unable to watch the game for two reasons:
1) I don’t get Versus on my Comcast cable. How does a Comcast channel not come with their cable package?
2) I attended a talk by Karen Cullen, VP Corporate Communications for Ilitch Holdings. It was a great talk plus I won a free Tigers’ baseball cap and was able to give her my resume for a PR internship so that was exciting.
Anyways, I was incredibly bummed that I missed the game because I’m rooting for the Rangers in the Eastern Conference (yes, it is primarily because of Shanny & Lundqvist). Plus, the Wings play against the Rangers only twice every three years, which totally sucks. It sounds like it was a great game though between Shanny scoring the first goal and the Wings coming back from behind.
Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Hudler, and Lang all scored for the Red Wings. Shanny, Nylander, and Hossa scored for the Rangers. The Wings outshot the Rangers last night, 26-20. Both teams scored a power play goal apiece.

Matt at On the Wings has a much more detailed recap of the game here.
What the Rangers’ bloggers are saying…
Hockeybird - He isn’t so happy with the Rangers’ performance of late and Avery’s arrival in New York.
Ranger Pundit - He doesn’t sound like he’s doing so well.
The good news? None. The bad news? Jagr is hurt again. Now that we got a guy who might protect him, he is hurt. Want more bad news. We play the Devils tonight in Jersey.
