BTJ Update
Just a quick update that I will not be posting on Monday and possibly Sunday and Tuesday as I am having minor knee surgery on Monday afternoon in Cincinnati. So I’m not worried about the surgery, but I am worried that my hotel won’t carry Versus and I’ll miss the Wings/Ducks game. My priorities seem a bit messed up…
I currently cover the Red Wings for the Most Valuable Network (MVN.com) and have for a couple of years now. It’s basically a mirror site of this one. I was recently invited to help out with their Detroit Lions’ coverage and decided to take up their offer so if any of you like my writing and like football, you can check it out here.
2-3 weeks ago, I had mentioned that I was going to be interviewing Paul Coffey. Unfortunately, he’s incredibly busy and it hasn’t happened yet since we seem to like playing phone tag. However, I should be conducting a phone interview with him next Thursday or Friday. Like I said before, I will post it here as soon as the interview is done and I’m sorry for the delay. I also found out that I will be interviewing Dany Heatley at some point this season/postseason, but I don’t know when it’ll happen. I just know that Heatley has given the guy who is setting this all up the okay for me to interview him over the phone.

And I think it is BEYOND awesome that you will get to interview Dany Heatley. Sounds like a great opportunity!
