Blog Update
I’ve added a couple of things to BTJ…
1) I’m testing out Google Reader so halfway down the sidebar on the right, you can check out all the other blog posts I’ve been reading lately. All the blog posts in that box are usually Wings’ bloggers, hockey bloggers, or bloggers covering other Michigan sports (ie. UM football/bball, Pistons, Tigers, and Lions).
2) I added an “As Seen In…” page where you can see screenshots of websites I’ve been featured or mentioned in like USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and Sports Business Daily.
What to expect for the playoffs…
- Unfortunately, my final exams are from April 16th through April 20th, which is directly during the first round of the playoffs. As such, I will still be posting postgame reactions but it won’t be as detailed as I’d like during that week.
- I hope to liveblog during some games like I did last year, but if a game falls on a night I’m taking an exam or when the Whalers play (I’ll be at that game working) I’ll be unable to do a liveblog but will talk about the game after I’ve watched it.
- There is a contest in the works for the playoffs, which will be hosted by all the Red Wings’ bloggers so keep your eye out for that. There will be some great prizes!
- I will do my best to provide as much coverage as possible during the playoffs, but as I stated earlier, school might hamper that a bit until April 20th.
- Even if the Red Wings lose sometime during the playoffs, I will still be following the other teams and liveblogging the Stanley Cup finals as I did last season.
