Bertuzzi out for first game
Since Todd Bertuzzi did not practice today (I’m assuming because he still hasn’t passed the concussion testing), he most likely will not be playing in tomorrow’s game (the first in round one). Thanks to Bruce MacLeod, a reporter for the Macomb Daily, for keeping us updated on his status.
Forward Todd Bertuzzi won’t dress for Thursday’s Game 1 against Calgary. “I don’t think he has any chance of playing tomorrow,” said Detroit coach Mike Babcock after Wednesday’s practice. “We’re day-to-day. We think he’ll have an opportunity to play on Sunday.”
