Wings win!!!!!
I have to go to a meeting now that the game is over so I can’t post a recap until I get back. However, a few quick things:
1) Datsyuk scored.
2) Zetterberg looked great.
3) Iginla didn’t even get a shot on goal.
4) The Wings were physical. More so than Calgary (gasp).
5) The Wings scored 4 goals on Kipper.
5) The Wings scored a power play goal.
6) The rookies stepped up in a big way. Filppula scored the first goal. Hudler got an assist on the second game.

That was the evil road Flames that ’showed up’ tonight…
They are clearly not the ones you have to worry about…
Although I don’t know how Kipper didn’t even get the third star, as none of the goals were really his fault and he made some fantastic saves…

It was beautiful! I was so happy to see the rookies step up - Hudler obviously (I love that so many people think of me in conjunction with him now haha!) but Filppula too. Great to see everyone looking so strong, let’s just hope it keeps up that way when we head north.
