NHL on NBC
I like watching games on NBC. I like having the NHL shown on a network that everyone with a TV can access.
However, I really really want to watch the New York Rangers play tomorrow afternoon on NBC (if the Wings can’t win it all, I’d like the Rangers to do so). Unfortunately, 83.6% of the US will be watching Pittsburgh play. Yes, I realize that it’s Sidney Crosby and all that jazz, but I want to see Shanny play in the playoffs.
What really surprises me is that only 3 of the 9 stations in the state of New York are showing the Rangers’ game. The rest are showing Pittsburgh’s matchup against Ottawa. I realize that Pittsburgh is close to New York, but won’t those New Yorkers want to watch their Rangers play?
I don’t understand. I got to watch Crosby like every other weekend on NBC. Due to my schedule, I’ve seen Shanahan and the Rangers once. I don’t like it.
Anyways, that was just me mindlessly rambling. I guess I’ll have more time to study finals then…
