Bernie the Rally Bird
I didn’t have time to mention this earlier due to exams and whatnot, but some geniuses at Lets Go Wings forums have created Bernie the Rally Bird. In Game #1 of the series, there was a black bird flying around the arena and even landed at the blue line during the game. Some t-shirts were created, which you can check out here and here.

After these t-shirts were created, a few pondered the idea of sending each Red Wings player a t-shirt. After a member (13dats) who works on Pavel Datsyuk’s official website called Datsyuk, who talked to Nick Lidstrom, they were given permission to send over t-shirts for all the players. They then raised money to purchase 25 t-shirts for the team and came up with $305 in donations (including money from yours truly). Each person who made a donation sponsored a player or two. I for sure am Kris Draper’s sponsor, but I might also be Niklas Kronwall’s sponsor as well.
They will receive the t-shirts when they return to Detroit on Friday and hopefully we’ll hear some reaction from the players whether through 13dats or maybe on FSN (if the players really like it). I also bought a ringer t-shirt myself so I have one matching the Wings.
I want to thank HenrikRules40, SuperCalaFilppulastic!, Never Forget Mac #25, and Drake_Marcus for working so hard to make this work. And thanks to 13dats for talking to Datsyuk and getting the okay from the team. Go Wings!

Where does the money from the shirts go? Will it be a charity thing, or is somone going to get rich from being a genius? Do you know?

From my understanding, no money is being made off the t-shirts except for Cafepress as the maker of the t-shirt design just put the base price required by Cafepress. I will ask him and get back to you though.
