BTJ gets a mascot
My dad took a cute picture of my English bulldog, Magoo, during intermission of Game #5 of the San Jose series. Magoo is now the official BTJ mascot, a Wing Nut.
There won’t be any posts on BTJ until right before or after Tuesday’s game. I will be in Cincinnati tomorrow to see my orthopedic surgeon and won’t get back home until the evening. Between the game and a German exam on Wednesday, I’ll most likely only have time to post a brief game recap immediately following the game. Go Wings!
I also want to send a big thank you to Steph @ No Pun Intended! She helped me in a big way and it’s much appreciated. I was supposed to go to last night’s game, but it fell through at the last minute. Steph was able to attend the game so she picked me up one of the autographed pucks that the Wings’ Wives were giving away. She actually grabbed the last two, both signed by Bertuzzi (Big Bert!), and is shipping me one of them. Thanks Steph!!

If you squint a little bit, Magoo kinda looks like Scotty Bowman.

I bet your Magoo could referee better than a certain other MacGeough?
