The Detroit Red Wings’ bloggers hosted a Stanley Cup contest with the winner receiving $65 (in a gift certificate or donated to charity). Second place won $35 and third place got a SI commemorative edition Steve Yzerman and a jersey card of their favorite player. Dave @ Gorilla Crouch was responsible for tabulating the winners. The contest to choose the conference finals participants and eventual Stanley Cup winner went all the way down to the wire. Scott F guessed correctly when he picked the Anaheim Ducks to win the Cup so he came in first place. So he gets a $65 gift certificate or can donate the money to the charity of his choice. Gustafsson got the every conference finals team and finals participant correct but guessed wrong when he took the Sens to win the Cup. So he finished in second place and will get either a $35 gift certificate or can donate the money. And Ryan N took third place via the tiebreaker since he came closest to the total number of goals scored in the Stanley Cup Finals series. So he gets the commemorative Steve Yzerman issue from Sports Illustrated. Here are the final point totals.
